Experienced both in advertising and publication sectors as
a Senior Copywriter (developing online/offline creative strategies and content for brands directly or via agencies, writing for publications, building communications for nonprofit organizations, etc.), she is currently contributing with her creative communication skills to YenidenBiz (a Turkish NGO which supports and helps qualified women who took a career break to return back to business). In addition to that, Ozlem has been chosen as one of the UN Women's Empower Women 2016/2017 Champions for Change. As part of her tasks as a Champion for Change, she campaigns and advocates for women’s economic empowerment by participating in several online & offline activities and projects in support of Empower Women.

Some of her work received various awards in both international and national advertising contests during her career in the advertising sector:

 

Finalist in EPICA

(European Advertising Awards Contest),

Golden Award of Montreux, 

Golden and Crystal Apples and Achievement Awards

(Turkish Advertising Contest).

 

Brought her home country a Bronze Medallion from Young Creatives 99 Advertising Contest,

CANNES LIONS AWARDS.

The competing ad was published in TIME Magazine.

Currently living in Izmir, Turkey, 

she is working on a social initiative project called "Toprak Anası ve Denizkızı" she has found which supports women's economical empowerment. 
 

Ozlem is also working on her master's thesis

"The Role of Advertising on Accepting Innovations in Communication Technologies" at the University of Marmara (Public Relations & Advertising Department).

 

She speaks and writes in both English and Italian.
